Aneeka Smith
INTRODUCTION
Aneeka obtained her undergraduate law degree from BPP University in 2018 and subsequently completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) at BPP Law School, alongside a Master of Laws (LL.M.). She has a strong academic and personal interest in Immigration and Human Rights Law, which has been reflected in her active participation in international mooting competitions. Notably, she represented the United Kingdom on the international stage and was selected to host the opening ceremonies of a competition held in Minsk, Belarus.
Aneeka has aspired to practise law from a young age and has undertaken a range of legal work experience. This includes shadowing barristers at 10 King’s Bench Walk, during which she was involved in trial observations, the documentation of cross-examinations and witness statements both in court and custodial settings, and the
preparation of case bundles.
She is currently awaiting her Call to the Bar by The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple. In the interim, she is undertaking the Police Station Representative Accreditation Scheme (PSRAS) through Cardiff University, enabling her to provide legal advice and assistance to individuals in police custody.

Aneeka has a passion for travel and values the opportunity to engage with diverse cultures and meet people from all walks of life. She places great importance on spending quality time with family and friends. Deeply committed to community service, Aneeka is actively involved in local outreach initiatives and charitable organisations, volunteering on a weekly basis for a charity she supports. She believes strongly in the importance of giving back and actively encourages others to contribute to their communities.
