Agil Vatchalam

Agil is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and is also qualified as an Advocate in India. He advises businesses, entrepreneurs and private clients on a broad range of commercial, corporate and dispute resolution matters, providing practical, commercially focused advice tailored to each client’s objectives.

Prior to qualifying as a Solicitor in England and Wales, Agil practised as an Advocate in Chennai, India, where he specialised in commercial litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution. Following completion of his LL.M in Commercial Law at the University of Edinburgh, he relocated to London and gained experience with an international arbitration practice, acting on complex cross-border commercial and investment disputes involving multinational corporations, investors and sovereign states.

Agil has experience advising on commercial disputes, shareholder disputes, corporate insolvency, construction disputes, contractual claims and energy-related disputes. He has also been involved in high-value international arbitration proceedings, including investment treaty claims, annulment proceedings, third-party funding applications, due diligence exercises and the preparation of evidence for hearings.

At KTS Legal, Agil advises clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including business acquisitions and disposals, shareholder and partnership issues, commercial contracts, corporate due diligence and general business advisory work. He also represents clients in commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution, helping businesses and individuals resolve disputes efficiently while protecting their commercial interests.
